Sunday 24th February saw well over 100 students being taught different styles by the Instructors listed in a jam packed full day training session at Jarrow Community Centre.
After a few introductory words and a warm up by Steve Youngman it was straight into the action.
First up was an excellent display by Paul Tennet and the Moi Fa Lion Dance.
The students were divided into 4 groups and allocated an Instructor.
Every 35 mins the groups were each given an Instructor of a different style.
Half way through the day during the lunch break saw 2 demonstrations given. One led by Jimmy McAvoy and Peter Gruffert demonstrating Capoiera followed by an Aikido demonstration by Jon Stokoe 6th Dan.
After the break and back into learning new techniques from more styles.
Raffle tickets were sold during the day and prizes donated by various Instructors and sponsor Faze 101 were to be had.
Finally, an auction was held for the last three items which had been donated including a Kick Shield from Sensei Rick Burns and a hand carved sword from Sensei Peter Seth.
A repeat from last years event whereby everyone had an excellent day, once again, no politics or ego's and old and new aquaintences were made.
More importantly almost £1000 was made on the day in support of Cancer Rearch UK.
