Steve has been involved in martial arts for over 30 years having originally started his training in Lau Gar Kung Fu in 1980 with Master Jeremy Yau's British Kung Fu Association.

Also during this time Steve has competed successfully both locally and nationally in Team and Individual events from Junior through to Veterans categories.
